Location: Telford

Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum (Including shift allowance)

Shift: Double Days (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm)

The CNC Miller setter operator will support production and processes for aluminium components that are optimised, reliable, and efficient. This hands-on role is responsible for proving new programs, setting and operating 5-Axis milling machines.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain 5-axis CNC machines, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Prove new CNC programs and commission fixtures and cutting tools.
  • Monitor dimensional reports, adjust offsets, and improve process capability.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance to resolve process issues.

Essentials:

  • Proven CNC machine setting experience within fast moving production environments.
  • Skilled in 5-axis high-speed machining of aluminium.
  • Competence in G & M code program editing (preferably Siemens controls).
  • Strong understanding of tooling and fixture design principles.
