An opportunity has become available for an experienced 3-5 Axis Offline CNC Miller Programmer to join an engineering business which specialises in medical equipment machining. You will be working on one-off and small batch projects machining components manufactured from aluminium and plastics.
Offline CNC Miller Programmer Responsibilities:
- Program, set and operate 3-5 Axis CNC milling machines
- Online programming using Heidenhain and Siemens control systems
- Offline programming using Hypermill and FeatureCam software
- Manufacture bespoke and low-volume precision components
- Carry out in-process inspection and quality checks to ensure components meet specification
Offline CNC Miller Programmer Experience:
- Previous experience programming, setting and operating 3-5 Axis CNC milling machines
- Strong control experience using Heidenhain and Siemens
- Proven offline programming experience using Hypermill and FeatureCam software
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
- Excellent understanding of machining processes, materials and tight tolerances
