An opportunity has become available for an experienced 3-5 Axis Offline CNC Miller Programmer to join an engineering business which specialises in medical equipment machining. You will be working on one-off and small batch projects machining components manufactured from aluminium and plastics.

Offline CNC Miller Programmer Responsibilities:

  • Program, set and operate 3-5 Axis CNC milling machines
  • Online programming using Heidenhain and Siemens control systems
  • Offline programming using Hypermill and FeatureCam software
  • Manufacture bespoke and low-volume precision components
  • Carry out in-process inspection and quality checks to ensure components meet specification

Offline CNC Miller Programmer Experience:

  • Previous experience programming, setting and operating 3-5 Axis CNC milling machines
  • Strong control experience using Heidenhain and Siemens
  • Proven offline programming experience using Hypermill and FeatureCam software
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
  • Excellent understanding of machining processes, materials and tight tolerances
