We have almost 50 years’ experience in our ever-growing marketplaces, you will find our products in Tool Station, Wickes, and Travis Perkins just to name a few. Our company is financially stable and has turned over 15 million. We are proud that our average length of service is 16 years.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and track-proven Sales and Business Development Executive who has been supplying Builders Merchants/DIY Sheds/Fixings companies ideally in the fixings, fasteners or building chemicals industries, though relevant experience will be considered.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships primarily with Builders Merchants though our markets also include Engineering, Agriculture, Horticulture, Fixings, Civils, DIY, etc.
The role of Area Sales Manager will include:
- Develop new business by positively promoting the company’s full range of products.
- Proactively manage and develop relationships with Merchants and Industrial Supply Companies developing your own customer base and increasing company brand awareness.
- Develop strategic relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
- Manage key customer accounts.
- Establish and maintain ongoing customer business relationships to provide the highest possible understanding of customer requirements and ensure end-product satisfaction.
- Provide accurate and rapid cost calculations and quotations to customers.
- Responsible for negotiating terms of an agreement and closing of sales.
