We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Sales Executive to join our growing Midlands depot team. This is a key role within the business, acting as the right-hand support to the Commercial Manager while supporting a small internal sales team and driving performance across key accounts (merchants).

As a Senior Sales Executive, you will play a central role in maintaining relationships with merchants, contractors, and key accounts, while supporting the wider growth of the business. You will support a team of internal sales professionals, ensuring high levels of customer service, strong margin performance, and consistent follow-up on quotations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account management of key merchant and contractor accounts (approx. 70% merchants / 30% contractors)
  • Monitor and manage quotation follow-ups to maximise conversion rates and manage process
  • Support the team in achieving margin targets and sales performance
  • Process orders and handle inbound customer enquiries
  • Act as a mentor and coach, providing training and guidance to the two internal sales team members
  • Identify gaps in the sales process and implement improvements
  • Work closely with the Commercial manager to 'steer the ship' and drive team success

About You

Proven experience working with merchants. Proven experience in an internal sales/account management role.
