Are you a competent and experienced leader with passion and experience within quality and compliance for the food industry? As part of the senior leadership team and reporting to the head of the site, they are looking for a dynamic and experienced person to become the technical lead covering everything throughout quality, food safety, compliance and hygiene. This is an immediate opportunity so could be covered by Interim as well as permanent applicants.
What you will be doing:
- Managing all aspects of Quality, Food Safety, and Legal compliance on site.
- Driving improvement onsite, whether it be process, quality with product or technical matters.
- Coaching and mentoring all stakeholders on compliance requirements ensuring audit systems are developed and delivered.
- Be the site contact for all external agencies for all matters concerning compliance.
- Leading for site audits ensuring that all processes and documentation are in place to enable success.
- Be an analytical thinker to proactively identify issues, assess and then address any concerns and provide solutions where needed.
- Driving to achieve improvements across all metrics across the scope of technical management.
Skills Experience:
- Proven track record in a technical role within food manufacturing.
- Management experience in a similar role.
- Be very conversant with compliance and hygiene standards within food manufacturing.
- HACCP Qualified.
- Excellent communication skills being able to converse with internal and external stakeholders of all levels.
- Food Science Qualification (Desirable).
