We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an established manufacturing business in the Leicester area. We have 2 existing sites already and are now recruiting for their brand-new manufacturing facility in the Northwest Leicester region.

As a company, we are a household name in the area, founded over 100 years ago and with annual turnover in excess of £60m in a secure industry. We employ over 500 staff at one of our Leicester sites alone and this role has come available as a result of expanding into another facility.

Your roles and responsibilities will include maintaining and repairing pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, motors, mixers, sensors, and relays. You'll be expected to follow closely the preventative maintenance plan and carry out general inspections. We have a great mixture of PPMs and reactive maintenance.

The successful Maintenance Engineer will be:

  • Multi-skilled maintenance engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias, with a minimum of 3 years' experience.
  • Experience in an FMCG environment would be beneficial.
  • Qualified to a minimum of Level 3 in some form of maintenance discipline would be beneficial.
