Are you an experienced Maintenance Planner who loves working in a fast-paced manufacturing facility and enjoys full accountability for planning reactive, planned, and project maintenance related activities for the site?
I am currently working with a global manufacturing company looking for a Maintenance Planner to join a large multi-skilled team of engineers who are motivational and driven to achieve total success.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, they are looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner with proven experience of planning maintenance and engineering works across the site. This includes daily work requests, planned shutdowns, composing and publishing PM work schedules.
What you will be doing:
- Full ownership of maintenance scheduling with SAP, ensuring all works are planned, resources and prioritised appropriately.
- Work to improve schedule compliance, reduce downtime and ensure clear visibility of upcoming maintenance activities.
- Enable accurate forecasting of materials, labour and contractor requirements.
- Monitor and manage PM compliance.
- Ensure all records are accurately maintained to provide assurance for HSE, audits and the Senior Leadership Team.
- Monitor the mandatory training requirements for personnel ensuring any expiring qualifications are highlighted to the Maintenance Manager.
Skills Experience:
- Be qualified in an Electrical/Mechanical discipline to a good level (HNC or equivalent).
- Have a good level of understanding and experience working with SAP.
- Have experience of working in a maintenance planning role within a large engineering/manufacturing business.
- Strong understanding and be a champion for continuous improvement with process and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understanding of Health & Safety requirements in the workplace with an IOSH qualification (desirable).
