This role will join an existing team that has recently gone through a major rebrand and is in an excellent position.

We are recruiting an Area Sales Manager to cover an existing area with a multi-million turnover.

Our client is a £70 million plus turnover wholesale distribution business that focuses on taking their products to builders merchants, DIY retail, electrical wholesale, and specialist distributors. All products are sold through distribution and not directly to the site, with no plans to change this already successful business direction.

The main aim of the next stage of growth is to engage with the end user to support their client base in selling more. In the past year, they have increased sales through their website from 30% of sales to over 70%, but this is still a massive area for growth.

A background in Area Sales in building materials distribution or manufacturing is required. You have sold products through merchants and distributors and will be able to display the ability to maximise existing accounts and retain market share.
