An exciting opportunity has become available for a Quality Inspector to join a business specialising in precision components within its Goods Inward department. This role is focused on ensuring all raw materials, manufactured components, and finished products meet the required quality standards.
Responsibilities:- Inspect raw materials, manufactured parts, and finished products against required specifications.
- Analyse and report non-conformities in line with ISO 9001 Quality Systems.
- Carry out audits on goods received, manufacturing, and assembly procedures.
- Maintain effective control of non-conforming products.
- Previous experience within a precision engineering environment.
- Understanding of inspection and quality control processes.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards is advantageous.
- Experience using quality measuring equipment (verniers, calipers, gauges, etc.).
- CMM experience would be advantageous.
