We are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer (60:40 either bias) to join our fast-paced manufacturing facility in Milton Keynes. As a business, we have over 10 UK locations with an annual turnover well in excess of £400m, which we have reinvested into the plant. Our facility is only 10 years old, with lots of brand-new state-of-the-art machinery, with plenty of land to expand onto with plans to nearly triple capacity over the next 5 years. Our process is fully automated with lots of technical aspects and varied work on a day-to-day basis.

Your roles and responsibilities will be both planned and reactive maintenance on our fully automated production lines. Our systems are mainly Siemens controls (S7 and TIA Portal) as well as work on conveyors, motors, inverters, and drives. You’ll be working in a substantial-sized team of 24 engineers across the department, your shift will consist of 4 shift engineers and 1 team leader.

Qualifications
  • Must be a multi-skilled maintenance engineer 60:40 either mechanical or electrical bias – an ability to fault find both mechanically and electrically is essential for this role
  • Qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (City and Guilds/HNC) which is essential in a maintenance related discipline.
  • Ability to read both mechanical/electrical schematics
