Days – Permanent
Do you have experience within Aerospace Engineering, Cost Estimation, or Manufacturing Planning? Are you confident interpreting engineering drawings, creating cost estimates, and working closely with customers and production teams?
What you will be doing:
- Producing accurate quotations from customer drawings and specifications
- Creating detailed manufacturing cost estimates and bills of materials
- Developing production and manufacturing process sheets
- Liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to support quotation activities
- Analysing margins and identifying cost reduction opportunities
- Supporting new project introductions and awarded contracts into production
- Working closely with Commercial, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams
- Assisting with the preparation of commercial proposals and winning new business
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience within an Aerospace Engineering environment
- Background in fabrication, press work, or complex manufacturing processes
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and complex BOMs
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively across multiple departments
