Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the Health and Safety concerns for multiple sites, including development, management, and monitoring of HSE matters.
- Act as the ‘go to’ expert for all matters regarding HSE and work with the senior leadership team, providing guidance where required.
- Promote a positive attitude to safe working and operating with all internal stakeholders.
- Serve as the first port of call for all external agencies on HSE matters.
- Keep the business compliant with changing regulations and implement any required changes.
- Implement and develop a robust culture of Health and Safety.
- Monitor compliance for all external contractors on site, ensuring all RAMS are correct and adhered to.
- Ensure all documentation is up to date and maintained.
- Write policies and SOPs.
Qualifications
- Proven track record working as an HSE Manager within manufacturing.
- Confident communicator, able to motivate and implement change at all levels.
- Minimum NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent).
- Excellent communicator, both verbally and written.
- Ability to work autonomously and pro-actively.
- Organised and able to work under pressure.
- Experience working to ISO 45001, 14001, and 18001.
