Due to continued growth and investment, we are looking for a Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team on a continental shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities of the successful Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs
- Complete maintenance reporting through the CMMS system
- Support TPM and PPM activities across site
- Diagnose electrical faults and carry out effective repairs
- Rectify stoppages and malfunctions, escalating for support where required
- Ensure machinery downtime is kept to a minimum
- Maintain high housekeeping and engineering standards
- Adhere to all site PPE requirements
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures at all times
Key Requirements of the successful Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer:
- Electrical qualifications – HNC or Level 4 equivalent
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong PLC fault-finding knowledge
- Multi-skilled engineering background with electrical bias preferred
- Self-motivated, reliable and organised
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Able to work continental shifts
