Salary: £49,664 with 16% pension.

Shift Pattern:

  • Mornings: Mon‑Thurs 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM; Fri 5:30 AM – 12:30 PM.
  • Afternoons: Mon‑Thurs 1:30 PM – 9:30 PM; Fri 12:30 PM – 7:30 PM.
  • Nights: Mon‑Thurs 9:30 PM – 5:30 AM; Fri 7:30 PM – 2:30 AM.

Responsibilities & Experience:

  • Experience with presses (Servo Press, Hydraulic Press), ABB Robots, Trumph Lasers, CNCs – would be advantageous for this role as a maintenance engineer.

About the Employer:

My Client are a leading tier 1 Automotive manufacturer that has invested £50,000,000 over the last few years. They have opened a brand new 50,000 square‑foot state‑of‑the‑art factory in the Wolverhampton area to supply major customers. The role focuses on maintenance of equipment such as Servo Press, Hydraulic Press, ABB Robots, 14 Trumph Lasers and Hot Stamp lines (soon to be 3). The company offers progression opportunities in a clean, automated environment.

Experience Required:

  • At least three years as a multi‑skilled maintenance engineer (mechanical and electrical skills)
  • Electrically qualified – Level 2/3 in C&G/NVQ ideally
  • Experience with presses, hydraulics, CNCs, hot stamping lines or robots
  • Experience with PLC fault finding – inputs/outputs
  • Multi‑skilled maintenance engineer from any background (Food, FMCG, Packaging, recycling, heavy, metal processing, plastics, automotive, building products, etc.)
