An exciting opportunity has become available for a Quality Inspector to join a business specialising in precision components within its Goods Inward department. This role is focused on ensuring all raw materials, manufactured components, and finished products meet the required quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect raw materials, manufactured parts, and finished products against required specifications
- Analyse and report non-conformities in line with ISO 9001 Quality Systems
- Carry out audits on goods received, manufacturing, and assembly procedures
- Maintain effective control of non-conforming products
Experience:
- Previous experience within a precision engineering environment
- Understanding of inspection and quality control processes
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards is advantageous
- Experience using quality measuring equipment (verniers, calipers, gauges, etc.)
- CMM experience would be advantageous
