We are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias (Roughly 60:40 mech/elec) to join a small maintenance team working at a bespoke manufacturing site in Leicester. This is an opportunity to work in a stable industry with one of the most established players in their industry whilst still maintaining a healthy company culture across the business. The company has big growth plans in the next few years so it's an exciting thing to be a part of.

Your role and responsibilities will include carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on hydraulics, pneumatics, vacuum systems, lathes, mills and conveyors. Knowledge and understanding of PLCs and electrical schematics is required.

The Successful Engineer:

  • Multi skilled maintenance engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias, ideally 60:40 split mech/elec
  • Qualified ideally to NVQ/ City and Guilds L3, however applicants with Level 2 qualifications are still encouraged to apply where there is evidence of experience
  • Minimum 5 years maintenance experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
