As part of the senior leadership team and reporting to the head of the site, we seek a dynamic leader to become the technical lead overseeing quality, food safety, compliance, and hygiene throughout the site.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of quality, food safety, and legal compliance on site.
- Drive process, product, and technical improvements.
- Coach and mentor stakeholders on compliance requirements and develop audit systems.
- Act as the site contact for external agencies regarding compliance matters.
- Lead site audits to ensure processes and documentation support success.
- Analyze and proactively identify and assess issues.
- Interact with clients to address concerns and provide solutions.
- Drive improvements across metrics within the technical management scope.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven track record in a technical role within food manufacturing.
- Management experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of compliance and hygiene standards in food manufacturing.
- HACCP qualified.
- Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience.
