Interior Designer – Stirling Furniture Design
Location: Stirling Furniture Design Showroom and on site
Full-time | 4 weekdays + Saturdays
Stirling Furniture Design is a well-established, family-run business with over 45 years of experience creating bespoke fitted furniture for homes in and around the North-West. Following the exciting expansion into our new 2,000 sq ft showroom, we\'re looking for a talented Interior Designer to join our growing team.
About the Role:
You\'ll work closely with clients to design and deliver beautiful, functional bespoke furniture solutions. This varied role will involve both showroom and home visits, so confidence in client-facing situations and strong design presentation skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet clients in the showroom and in their homes to discuss design ideas and requirements
- Create accurate, to-scale plans and 3D visuals using SketchUp
- Develop bespoke fitted furniture concepts tailored to client needs
- Manage projects from concept through to installation in collaboration with our workshop team
- Maintain excellent communication and organisation under pressure
What We\'re Looking For:
- Minimum 12 months\' experience as an Interior Designer (furniture design experience highly advantageous)
- Strong SketchUp skills – must be able to produce detailed, professional drawings
- Confident and personable with excellent rapport-building skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence and have own car
- Ability to work 4 weekdays and Saturdays
