Part-time Head of Finance in Swindon

Highly successful international SME manufacturing company require part time ACA/ACCA or CIMA Qualified Head of Finance to undertake a challenging and varied position at company Head Office in Swindon. About the role. Reporting to the Managing Director the Head of Finance will oversee a small finance team and will be responsible for all all aspects of Financial & Management Accounting. Key duties include: * Work closely with the MD as Financial Business Partner and ensure sound financial guidance regarding key strategic decisions * Responsible for the month-end close and providing detailed Financial Reporting for Head Office review * Produce monthly management accounts for review by the Senior Management Team * Statutory Accounts preparation and liaison with the company auditors * Control of working capital and manage company bank account * Preparation of the 12 month rolling budget and attending budget review meetings with key cost centre managers * Overseeing the workload of the Accounts Manager * Revenue forecasting & analysis * Cash flow forecasting and reporting * Inventory reporting & analysis * WIP analysis * Monthly flash and KPI reporting * Ensure that the regulatory requirements (including GDPR) of all statutory bodies are met · About you * ACA/ACCA or CIMA Qualified you will have previously worked as the Head of Finance in an SME environment, ideally within the manufacturing sector * A strong relationship builder you will act as a true Financial Business partner and ensure an increased awareness of the financial implications of high level decisions * Actively looking for a part time role you will be available 3-4 days a week What's on offer * Part time role 3-4 days a week * 70-75K pro rata salary * Free parking * Company pension * Pro rata bonus * 25 days holiday * Flexibility on hours
