Overview Highly successful and expanding SME Manufacturing company require ACCA/CIMA part-time Management Accountant for a challenging position 20-25 hours a week, based on-site, at well situated offices in Slough, Berkshire.
About the Management Accountant Reporting to the Finance Director the Management Accountant will assist with month-end management accounting and undertake a variety of month-end routines.
Key duties include
- Acting as a first point of contact for queries within Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Undertake responsibility for Quarterly VAT returns
- Month end journals including accruals & prepayments
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage fixed asset register
- Manage the company Payroll function and updating employee pay details.
- Performing financial analysis; including margin analysis and cost analysis
- Assisting the FD with monthly financial reporting for board review
- Processing all banking transactions and monthly bank reconciliations
- Monitoring and investigation of production variances
- Inventory accounting including accurate stock count and valuation
- Reporting and analysis of variances to the budget
- Assisting the FD with budgeting and forecasting About you
- The Management Accountant will be ACCA or CIMA part or fully qualified and have a proven track record working within a busy SME environment
- You must be looking specifically for a part-time role and be available 20-25 hours a week on-site in Slough
- Previous experience within the manufacturing sector would be advantageous
