Overview Highly successful Electronics Manufacturing company require, bright and articulate, Production Technician to be based at recently refurbished offices in Staines upon Thames. About the role Reporting to the Head of Operations the Manufacturing Technician will manage the entire customer returns process which will involve the diagnosis and repair of returned Electronics and the communication of replacement timeframes with the Account Management team. Key duties include: * Ensuring customer satisfaction through the efficient turnaround of product returns and ensuring returns completed in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) * Adhering to company Return on Investment (ROI) policy to balance repair cost versus replacement. * Performing a technical diagnosis of customer returns and managing repairs with support from the Production and Engineering departments * Monitoring the progress of all product returns to ensure clear communication regarding completion of orders * Performing an analysis of returned products and passing feedback to Quality Control * Completing Electronic repairs within capability and escalating complex or design related issues to the Production & Engineering team * Achieving SLA targets by ensuring all Returns are closed within agreed timescales About you * Graduate calibre you will have a proven track record within electronics manufacturing or repair and have experience in assembly and soldering * The successful candidate will be process driven, have experience of electronics testing & fault finding and have the ability to work well under their own supervision * Applicants will have a good business acumen and be able to evaluate cost based decisions Whats on offer * Excellent performance related bonus * Free on-site parking * Attractive pension scheme * Life assurance * Excellent opportunities for progression
