About the role
Working within a dynamic and proactive team, the Buyer is a critical role to ensure production runs smoothly by managing the timely procurement of essential components and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Key duties include:
- Sourcing and purchasing key components and materials to ensure a timely, cost-effective, and high quality production process
- Ensuring adherence to the company budget whilst meeting company production schedules
- Supplier Management through building and maintaining strong working relations
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Manage inventory levels by strategic ordering to maintain adequate stock and prevent shortages or overstocking
- Analyse market
