Stirling Dynamics is recruiting a Quality Consultant to join the Support Services team. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented to support in developing a Quality Management System for our newly acquired business unit in Hamburg. The candidate must be able to work in the Bristol office at least three to five days per week and have the ability to travel to Hamburg, Germany (no more than once every 4-6 weeks). The consultant will support the extension of the UK quality system to work with the recently acquired EASA Part 21J organisation. The position is for 6 months starting in November 2023.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will be involved in improving and optimising current processes and systems.
- The second focus will be on implementing an existing AS9100 QMS into an EASA Part 21J organisation that currently operates in accordance with their DOA Handbook (i.e., there is currently no formal QMS other than the Handbook).
Desired Skills
- Ability to work well within a team, but also the competence to take ownership of individual tasks and activities.
- Significant experience with AS9100 and EASA Part 21J (Part 21G experience is also desirable) in small to medium-sized entities.
- Experience with organisations that are service and product-based.
- Experience in project and process-based internal audits.
Rate is dependent on experience and suitability.
