As part of a small HR team, the role will be hands-on and will include a mix of advisory work, HR administration, reporting, process coordination and project support.

  • Provide timely, practical and consistent advice to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures and employment matters.
  • Support managers and employees with employee relations matters as required, including absence, performance, conduct, capability, grievance and flexible working, escalating complex or high‑risk cases to the Head of HR.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding activities, including preparing job documentation, coordinating selection processes, drafting employment documentation, ensuring pre‑employment and security checks are completed, and managing the first day inductions.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, ensuring personal data is handled confidentially and in line with GDPR requirements.
  • Coordinate core employee lifecycle processes, including probation reviews, family leave, contractual changes, leavers and return-to-work documentation.
  • Support the annual performance review and salary review processes.
