Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a Support Worker Early Childhood Educator to work within Cowie Nursery. This role provides a career pathway in ELC where interested SWECEs can, in the future, explore further training to work towards a level 7 qualification. Applications are welcomed from enthusiastic and committed individuals with experience of working with children of different ages and abilities, including those with specific support or medical needs. You will work within enthusiastic and hard-working teams to create stimulating learning opportunities that deliver a high quality, child-centred education.

Our children have requested the new SWECE should … “They should help the children tidy up.” “Sing songs and be fun!”, They should be a ballerina teacher and let us go outside. “Cook for us good snacks”

This post is 25 hours; applicants must be able to work between the hours of 8.00am-6.00 pm on a rotated shift basis.

The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
