St Ninians Primary School is seeking a motivated, self-organised, confident, and experienced Support for Learning Assistant to join our team from August 2025.

Our school is an exciting place to work and learn. Support and inclusion for our young learners are at the heart of everything we do. Our staff are forward-thinking and a friendly, warm team to work with.

We have a team of SLA staff who work closely with teachers to design activities and programmes suitable for the children to support their learning and attainment. This can involve outdoor learning, group work, individual support, or classroom assistance.

Your role will also include supporting children during break times in the playground and lunch hall. This involves helping children build good relationships and resolving conflicts through games or restorative conversations.

As part of the SLA and wider school team, you will feel supported and valued. We seek positive team members who support others.

If you feel this role excites you and you possess the qualities we seek, we would love to receive your application.

Interviews will take place on Friday, 20th June.

The successful candidate will need to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If progressed after interview, you will complete the necessary forms for verification.

We encourage applications from all qualified candidates regardless of age, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, belief, or race. Restrictions apply to Modern Apprenticeships.
