Are you an experienced finance professional looking to lead and make a positive impact in local government? Stirling Council are currently seeking a dynamic, experienced Finance Team Leader to join our Service Accounting team. As one of the Finance Team Leaders for the Service Accounting Team, you will help provide managerial, operational and strategic leadership for the team.

You will develop work with the Finance Service Manager to ensure data & analysis are provided to service leaders in a timely and accurate manner to allow leaders to continue the effective financial management of the Council’s resources. Key responsibilities will include supporting & overseeing the provision of high-quality management information and professional advice to senior managers including building strong relationships. Additionally, you will be responsible for streamlining processes and ensuring finance policies are in line with the council’s financial regulations and the code of practice.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant, with post qualification experience and continued professional development in these key areas. They will also be able to demonstrate experience of delivering professional financial support services, and experience of leading a team of finance staff. Experience of Oracle Fusion would be advantageous.
