Cambusbarron Primary School is recruiting for temporary Support for Learning Assistants until 25th June 2027. Cambusbarron Primary School is looking for committed, compassionate and inspiring support for learning assistants to join our nurturing team. In this role you will join a positive and solution focussed team to assist in supporting children to engage with learning across the curriculum.
You will demonstrate a commitment to develop professionally through training and provide supporting, nurturing care to your learners and staff. You will undertake a range of activities that may include general supervision, personal care and ensuring the well-being of the children under the direction of teaching staff. You will be required to work effectively 1:1, in small groups or supporting in class and outdoor learning as required.
Good communication and teamwork skills are essential and you should enjoy being part of a supportive, adaptable and positive team. Experience working with children would be preferable. The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. The Benefits:
