Bannockburn Primary School are looking for a Support for Learning Assistant to support our learners in Bruce House (autism provision) on a temporary basis until 25 June 2027. We are looking for someone who is:

  • Ambitious, flexible, motivated and works effectively as part of a team.
  • Can inspire and motivate learners and meet a range of learning needs.
  • Works effectively in partnership with parents, partners and all stakeholders.

The successful candidate will provide high quality support for our young people and play an active and effective role in wider school activities and experiences. We are a nurturing school with high expectations and aspirations for our learners. The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. Additional Salary Information:

  • 30 days annual leave plus 7 public holidays (rising to 35 after 5 years continuous service) pro-rated for part time roles.
  • Flexible working including hybrid office/work from home arrangements where the role allows.
  • Biennial incremental progression until top of your payscale is reached.
  • Membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme.
  • Up to 6 months full sick pay and 6 months half pay dependent on length of service.
