The Council is looking for you to join the Chief Officer - Governance, Audit Service Manager, Internal Audit Team Leader, Risk Coordinator and the wider Internal Audit, Risk and Corporate Fraud Team to provide Risk Management and Internal Audit services to support Stirling's ambitions to deliver the best outcomes for its communities. Working with the Audit Service Manager and Risk Management Coordinator, you will be professionally qualified in Risk Management or Internal Audit or be willing to work towards a qualification.

You will be an integral member of Internal Audit, Risk and Corporate Fraud team and will work with colleagues to drive a positive, risk aware and customer focussed culture. You will be an effective communicator and team player, with a demonstrable track record of achievement. You will be able to work on your own initiative as well as with teams across the Council. You will understand ISO31000 or similar risk management standards as well as the Global Internal Audit Standards. A knowledge of local government and commitment to customer-focused public services is required.

Working with colleagues across the organisation and external partners, you will build and develop relationships to deliver solutions and improvements for the benefit of all our citizens.
