In this role, you’ll work closely with senior leaders, government partners, and stakeholders across the public and private sectors to deliver high-impact projects that strengthen communities and support sustainable economic development.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and manage projects within the City Region Deal investment programme
  • Support the delivery of strategies that promote inclusive economic growth
  • Work with partners across local government, universities, and industry
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification
  • Manage risks, budgets, procurement processes, and contractor relationships
  • Contribute to programme management improvements across regional partners

What we’re looking for:

  • Degree-level education (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong project management expertise and Treasury Green Book knowledge
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience developing business cases, risk registers, and project plans
  • Ability to manage complex programmes, budgets, and competing priorities
  • Passion for delivering positive change for communities
