Crianlarich Primary are looking for a 0.4 FTE Principal Teacher (Temporary) to join their enthusiastic team. You will be a core member of the school’s extended management team and take forward delegated responsibilities across the school as well as lead on school improvement priorities. You will model the highest standards of learning and teaching and will inspire, motivate and support colleagues in the development of their own classroom practice. This post will be combined with a 0.2 Class Teacher position to make up a 0.6 FTE position. Working days will be Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
We are looking for a Principal Teacher who:
- has an excellent pedagogical knowledge of learning and teaching
- is committed to continuous improvement
- motivates, guides and leads others
- leads learning and improvement
- works effectively with a wide range of stakeholders to bring about improvement
- uses skilled interactions when dealing with pupils, colleagues and parents and partners
You will hold an appropriate primary qualification and be an experienced classroom practitioner.
