Stirling Inclusion Support Service is a specialist service that works closely with schools, partners and families to improve outcomes for children and young people who present with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
The Service consists of a multi-disciplinary team that provides outreach support to schools and has three bases that offers a more intensive level of support for a small number of children and young people who require this.
The Service promotes the importance of positive relationships and a trauma informed and rights based approach, providing a nurturing and inspiring learning environment where children and young people can develop confidence, make informed decisions and achieve their full potential.
We are looking to appoint an Inclusion Support Worker who is passionate about inclusion and equity to work with our children and young people in outreach and in our bases.
The successful applicant will support and inspire our learners to achieve the best possible outcomes through the development and delivery of innovative sessions based on the needs of the children and young people and in conjunction with the Team Around the Child.
The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children.
