Due to a long term absence we are seeking a temporary ICT Technician to provide support with a range of ICT matters across all areas of the school. You will have a proactive problem solving approach to work carrying out chromebook repairs and maintenance, supporting Teachers with classroom ICT, including configuration and installation of ICT equipment in classrooms and computer labs. You will also be required to carry out regular ICT housekeeping ensuring backups are run, user accounts are created and removed appropriately. Flexibility will be required from time to time, eg to ensure set up for events such as annual awards ceremonies.

This is a stand alone role within the school, you are part of a wider network of technicians based in each of the secondary schools and support and guidance is available through the central service desk and education technology team. McLaren High School is located in one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland, on the southern edge of Callander—an easy commute from the Central Belt, just 25 minutes from Stirling and 45 minutes from Glasgow.
