An exciting opportunity has arisen for a relief driver position within the Education and ASN team. You will be responsible for the safe transportation by vehicle (Minibus/People carrier) of schoolchildren who will often have additional support needs and disabilities to and from agreed pick up/drop off points.

It is desirable that you will have previous driving experience and you must have as a minimum a category D1/101 on your licence. Any successful candidate will be required to undertake mandatory training (MIDAS). Please note that a driving assessment will be undertaken as part of the interview process.

The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children.   • 30 days annual leave plus 7 public holidays (rising to 35 after 5 years continuous service) pro-rated for part time roles.
