An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Property and Assets section of Housing Services as a Modern Apprentice Administrator. Within the team, you will learn how to operate our systems related to repairs and maintenance scheduling, including programming & arranging appointments, liaising with staff, requisitioning supplies, progressing work, and issuing letters. You will also resolve problems and contribute to administrative duties. Additionally, you will work with our materials controller in all aspects of stores duties, including ordering and purchasing stock materials, stock taking, managing vehicle imprest stocks, checking delivery documentation, and managing requisitions.

As a Modern Apprentice, you will undertake a Business Administration Modern Apprenticeship at SCQF Level 5 and receive relevant training through a local provider. Applicants should be aged 16-19 by September 2025 (or an official summer 2025 leaver) and demonstrate enthusiasm and a commitment to learn.

This opportunity is funded through the Modern Apprenticeship scheme. Candidates aged 20-29 may be eligible for enhanced funding if they have a disability or are care experienced.
