Stirling Council’s Land Services team are looking for 2 modern apprentices to primarily work within the Grounds squads. You will learn a variety of skills and techniques in the respective Land Service areas. You should enjoy working outdoors and be prepared to work in all weather conditions and have a genuine interest in grounds maintenance, learning how to take care of Stirling Council’s outdoor spaces including planting, strimming and hedge cutting.

As a Modern Apprentice, you will work towards a Horticulture SCQF 5 qualification at SRUC Oatridge and be expected to travel weekly. You will also undertake other specific training required for the modern apprenticeship. You will be 16-19 years old (or an official summer leaver 2025) and be able to demonstrate enthusiasm for this role and have a commitment to learn.
