An exciting opportunity has arisen at Infrastructure Delivery, Stirling Council at Borestone Primary School for a permanent job share janitor.
The post will involve providing janitorial services on a term-time (41 weeks per annum), part-timebasis in support of the school community.
Working hours for the post will be Monday to Wednesday 0730-0930 then a split resuming work at 1130 – 1530 (including a 30 minutes unpaid break) paid at Stirling Council Grade 4.
Personal protective equipment will be provided and training where necessary.
Applicants will require be physically fit, as porterage and other heavy lifting forms a large part of the role, and be prepared at times to work outdoors in inclement weather.
Occasional overtime working at evenings to cover school lets will also be available on a voluntary basis.
Applicants will also require a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to allow them to utilise Stirling Council online training and human resources IT applications.
