We are looking for compassionate and reliable Home Support Workers to join our Reablement & TEC service team. This rewarding role helps people regain their independence following illness, injury, or hospital discharge.
What will you be doing:
- Providing short-term, goal-focused support to individuals in their own homes to help them regain daily living skills and confidence.
- Working as part of multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred reablement plans.
- Supporting service users to use and benefit from Technology Enabled Care solutions, such as personal alarms.
- Encouraging and promoting independence, wellbeing and safety at all times.
- Monitoring progress, reporting changes, and contributing to care planning and reviews.
We are looking for a caring and empathetic nature with a strong commitment to promoting independence. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Ability to use basic technology (smartphones, care devices) or willingness to learn is required. Experience in a care or support role is desirable but not essential - full training will be provided. A valid driving licence is necessary. The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Adults. The Benefits:
