Location: Balfron High School
Stirling Council are seeking three dedicated permanent janitors to join our newly established facilities team at Balfron High School, Stirling.
Successful candidates will work five days per week, scheduled over a seven-day period, Monday through Sunday. This means that your workdays will vary and may include weekends on a rota basis.
Janitorial services will be provided between the hours of 0630-2230 Monday to Friday and a reduced service at weekends. Successful candidates will work eight hours per day (including a 1-hour unpaid break) on a rota basis.
All posts will be 52.2 weeks per year/35 hours per week and paid at Stirling Council Grade 4.
Personal protective equipment and training will be provided to all successful candidates.
Applicants will require to be physically fit, as porterage and other heavy lifting forms a large part of the role, and be prepared to work weekends on a shift basis and at times outdoors in inclement weather.
Applicants will also require a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to allow them to utilise Stirling Councils online training and human resources IT applications.
The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children and Adults.
