An exciting opportunity has arisen at Stirling Council for a Charge-hand Cleaner at Strathblane Primary School, Blanefield. The post will involve providing a supervisory and cleaning service on an 18.5 hours per week term-time basis between the hours of 3.15pm and 7.05pm Monday to Thursday and 3.15pm to 6.25pm Friday, paid at Stirling Council Grade 2.
You will be responsible for providing a professional cleaning service, supervision and support of the cleaning assistants at the school, ordering of cleaning products and responsible for key-holding to allow cleaning provision. Applicants should be capable of lifting heavy items, using cleaning machinery including electric buffing machines, scrubber dryers and vacuum cleaners. Personal protective equipment, tools and training will be provided.
Applicants will also require a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to allow them to utilise Stirling Council online training and human resources IT applications. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has been in the cleaning industry for a period of time and is looking for advancement in the profession.
The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children and Adults. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
