An exciting employment opportunity has arisen at Stirling Council for a Cleaning Assistant in support of Dunblane Nursery. The successful candidate will deliver a cleaning service, including key-holding in support of the Nursery community on a 10 hours per week, 52.2 weeks per year permanent contract.
Hours of work will be 6pm - 8pm daily Mon - Fri and paid at Stirling Council Grade 1. Applicants should be capable of lifting heavy items, using cleaning machinery including electric buffing machines, scrubber dryers and vacuum cleaners. Be able to clean surfaces to head height and prepared to work alone.
Applicants will also require a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to allow them to utilise Stirling Council online training and human resources IT applications. Personal protective equipment, tools and training will be provided.
The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
