An exciting opportunity has arisen at Stirling Council for a Charge-hand Cleaner at Newton Primary School. The post will involve providing a supervisory and cleaning service on a 22 hours per week (39 week/term time) basis between the hours of 3pm β 7:30pm and paid at Stirling Council Grade 2.
You will be responsible for the supervision and support of the cleaning assistants at Newton Primary School, ordering of cleaning products and responsible for key-holding to allow cleaning provision. In addition to being willing to support colleagues at the location, applicants should be capable of lifting heavy items, using cleaning machinery including electric buffing machines, scrubber dryers and vacuum cleaners. Personal protective equipment, tools and training will be provided.
Applicants will also require a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to allow them to utilise Stirling Council online training and human resources IT applications. The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children.
