An exciting employment opportunity has arisen at Stirling Council for a Caretaker/Cleaner in support of St. Ninian’s Nursery, Stirling. The successful candidate will deliver a caretaking and cleaning service, including key-holding in support of the Nursery community on a 52.2 week per year permanent contract. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 7-8am split 6-8pm paid at Stirling Council Grade 3.

Personal protective equipment, tools and training will be provided where necessary. Applicants should be capable of lifting heavy items, cleaning surfaces to head height and prepared to work alone and at times to work outdoors in inclement weather. Applicants will also require a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to allow them to utilise Stirling Council online training and human resources IT applications.

The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children and Adults. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
