Job Description
This is a 0.4 FTE Senior Early Childhood Educator post. As Senior ECE, you will be highly qualified with expertise in early childhood learning and development. The successful candidate will support the management, planning and implementation of a flexible, high quality early learning and childcare service, which is appropriate to the needs of young children and their families within our nursery and the wider community.

We are looking for a Senior Early Childhood Educator who will inspire, motivate, support and challenge colleagues in the development of their own practice. You will support the delivery of suitable programmes of learning opportunities which meet the needs of the individual child in line with Local and National Guidance. You will hold or be willing to work towards a degree level qualification in the following: BA in Childhood Practice or equivalent PDA, Certificate, Diploma in Early Childhood studies or other relevant advanced qualification. Applicants should be explicit in detailing the required skills, experience and attributes that you are able to bring to this post. You will be SSSC registered prior to appointment, or register within 6 months of your appointment. This is a temporary, part time post. The projected working pattern is Thursday and Friday on a two week alternate shift rotation (8am-4pm wk1 & 10am-6pm wk2).
