An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join a successful and dynamic Bannockburn High School team on a permanent basis from 10 August 2026. We are seeking a versatile educator to deliver a variety of science qualifications, including L5 Skills for Work (Laboratory Science/Health Sector) and L6 NPA Scientific Technologies. A key part of our BGE curriculum is our STEM Academy; therefore, candidates with experience in school-wide STEM initiatives are highly encouraged to apply. While not essential, a dual qualification in another science discipline (such as Physics) would be a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will deliver science qualifications as part of the curriculum and contribute to school-wide STEM initiatives within the STEM Academy.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children.
  • A dual qualification in another science discipline (such as Physics) would be a significant advantage.
