As a Relief Catering Assistant, your core task is to be the face of our service for schools within your area, delivering excellent customer service with a smile, while getting hands-on with the preparation of delicious, nutritious, and high-quality meals made with fresh, sustainable ingredients.
Role Responsibility
- Service Excellence: Work as a dynamic part of the team to create a fantastic dining experience for all our students and staff—you’re key to lunchtime happiness!
- Customer Champion: Serve food and operate the tills (don’t worry, we provide full training!).
- Culinary Support: Jump in and assist the chefs with meal preparation, playing a vital role in bringing our delicious menus to life.
- Keep it Sparkling: Ensure a clean and organised kitchen environment at all times.
- Safety First: Adhering to all guidelines, including Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies.
The Ideal Candidate
- A friendly, versatile personality with the energy to thrive in a fast-paced, busy environment.

- Previous catering or food service experience is a bonus!
- A basic understanding of Health and Safety practices.
- Food Hygiene Level 2 is great, but not essential—we believe in training, so we’ll provide it for the right enthusiastic candidate!
