At Stint, we’re using AI tools to transform how hospitality businesses operate. We started by building the UK’s largest flexible workforce of hyper-local students available for short 2–3 hour shifts, working with brands like PizzaExpress, Pret a Manger, Gails, and many more. Now, we’re combining that workforce with an AI tool – creating a platform that no competitor can replicate. In just 10 months, our new AI software has surpassed £1m in ARR and we are on track to multiply that in the next 12 months. We are aggressively capturing the UK market, and international expansion is next - with plans to launch big in the US soon.

We’re looking for a People & Talent Partner to own and shape the people experience at Stint. You'll own everything from attracting and hiring great talent, to onboarding, employee experience, people operations and supporting our managers as we continue to grow. Working closely with our founder and team leads, you'll help build the people foundations that enable Stint to scale successfully. You'll ensure we continue to attract exceptional people, create a great employee experience, and develop the processes, systems and culture needed for our next phase of growth. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role. You'll be the primary person in our people and talent function, balancing recruitment, people operations and employee experience while helping shape how we grow as a business. It's an opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and wants to have a meaningful influence on both the people and the future direction of a company. We are an office-first, collaborative team and this role is based in Camden 4-5 days a week.

What you will be doing:

  • Own Stint’s end-to-end hiring process, from role scoping and sourcing strategy through to offers and onboarding.
  • Own key people operations processes, including contracts, offer letters, onboarding, probation reviews and employee lifecycle administration.
  • Partner closely with founder and hiring managers to shape role briefs, interview processes, and hiring decisions.
  • Design and continuously improve our recruitment and people processes, ensuring they are scalable, efficient and provide an excellent candidate and employee experience.
  • Act as the first point of contact for candidates, creating a positive and engaging experience throughout the hiring journey.
  • Build and nurture talent pipelines across the business, proactively identifying and engaging exceptional future talent.
  • Track and report on hiring metrics, using data and insights to improve recruitment effectiveness, candidate experience and hiring quality.
  • Deliver a seamless onboarding experience, ensuring new starters feel welcomed, informed and set up for success from day one.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, team events and culture-building activities that contribute to a positive and high-performing workplace.
  • Own day-to-day People matters, helping employees and managers navigate policies, processes and best practice.
  • Contribute to the development of Stint's employer brand, ensuring our values, culture and mission are effectively communicated to prospective and current employees.

This role might suit you, if:

  • You have 2+ years of experience in People, Talent, HR or Recruitment, and are looking for a role with broad ownership and impact.
  • You're excited by the opportunity to help build and shape people processes in a growing company, not just fill vacancies.
  • You enjoy partnering with managers and employees alike, providing practical support and guidance across the employee lifecycle.
  • You're confident working with senior stakeholders and can communicate clearly, professionally and with good judgement.
  • You're highly organised, detail-oriented and able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • You're proactive and resourceful, comfortable taking ownership and improving processes without needing extensive direction.
  • You genuinely care about creating a positive employee experience, from candidate attraction through to onboarding, development and retention.
  • You have a strong sense of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive people matters.
  • You're interested in culture, engagement and building a workplace where people can do their best work.
  • You enjoy variety and are happy switching between recruitment, people operations, employee support and wider business projects.
  • You want to work in an ambitious, high-growth environment where your contribution will be visible from day one.

What we can offer you:

  • Private medical insurance
  • A social, friendly and welcoming team based in the heart of Camden
  • Office gym membership
  • Ownership shares in a well-funded, growing start-up
  • Dog friendly office!
  • Free office fruit and snacks
  • Office dinner if working late
  • Regular office breakfasts and lunches
