About the role
We have a newly created People Partner role (HR Business Partner), driven by our continued global growth. A unique opportunity to shape a role rather than step into someone else's. Stiltz has also recently been recognised as a Great Place to Work, and as our growth continues that’s where you come in. We’re looking for an experienced People Partner to help us build on that. You'll be a trusted partner to leaders across our UK and international business, giving commercial, legally sound, values-led advice that supports good decisions and a genuinely positive employee experience. You'll lead UK People delivery through your two direct reports our Senior People Advisor and People Projects Lead, working closely with our Group People Director, while overseeing the people side of our EOR arrangements, and other international set-ups.
What you'll do
- Partner with senior leaders and managers on people plans that support engagement, retention and performance
- Manage and support complex or high-risk people matters, delivering outcomes that are fair, consistent, compliant, and aligned with our values
- Coach and develop managers and senior leaders to build their people leadership skills
- Lead on our UK People policies end-to-end, keeping them compliant, consistently applied and easy to understand
- Use people data and insights to spot risks, gaps, and opportunities early, delivering practical solutions that strengthen decision-making and business impact
- Lead and develop your team, balancing priorities and supporting delivery, whilst aligning People activity to business objectives
- Provide direction and governance across People projects, change and international people processes including EOR employee arrangements
- Support UK payroll on escalations, keeping things accurate and on time
- Create and design workshops and e-learning content that close real skills gaps as they emerge
What we offer
- Salary range £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- 25 days holiday + 8 statutory bank holidays + 1 extra day off for your birthday!
- Life assurance + critical illness cover
- Pension scheme
- Company bonus scheme
- Enhanced cash health scheme + wellbeing support
- Employee referral scheme
- Employee discounts
- Cycle to work scheme
- Fully supported induction and ongoing development
What you'll bring
- Working knowledge and expertise of UK employment law and HR best practice, with the confidence to lead on complex matters
- Solid generalist HR experience in a business partnering role, including a proven track record at HRBP or People Partner level
- A consultative, coaching approach, you influence through trust, not just process
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with the ownership, initiative and collaboration to spot opportunities, bring ideas to life and deliver high-quality results
- Commercially aware, with sound judgement on culture and values fit
- Experience leading or managing others in a People/HR function
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent (Level 7, or working towards it, is a bonus)
Great People Partners come from all kinds of backgrounds, strong on the essentials matters more than a perfect match.
