Location: Helston, Cornwall

Salary: £27,348 to £32,515 pro-rata, dependent on experience

Role Type: Permanent Contract, Part-Time, 22.5 hours per week (days to be confirmed)

About The Role

As our site-based Water Treatment Technician, you\'ll be a key member of our operations team here in Cornwall. You will be responsible for maintaining the site and its assets efficiently while delivering excellent service to our customers. This is a site-specific role at the Culdrose Sewage Treatment Works, involving planned and reactive maintenance at this wastewater site. It is ideal for someone with water industry experience seeking to work reduced hours.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operating and maintaining wastewater assets at Culdrose Sewage Treatment Works in compliance with environmental permits.
2. Providing reactive and planned preventative maintenance.
3. Recording real-time data using portable IT equipment.
4. Conducting meter readings and entering reporting data.
5. Maintaining the site to Ancala Water Services standards.

What You’ll Bring

1. Experience or knowledge of the wastewater industry is highly desirable.
2. Industrial maintenance experience is crucial.
3. Good IT skills with experience of software packages and mobile devices.
4. Strong communication skills for effective engagement with customers and colleagues.
5. Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
6. Comfort working in confined spaces and outdoor environments in all weather conditions.

Role Requirements

Candidates must:

• Obtain Security Clearance, including a Criminal Record Check and MoD Security Application, with full UK residency for the past five years.
